Jihyun Ma Data Manager
I am the data manager for the SBSRC. As the data manager, I am primarily responsible for developing and maintaining systems and procedures for multiple datasets. My work also includes creating and maintaining secure data repositories that meet local and federal human subject requirements, consulting to identify appropriate uses of data and data repositories, and working on special projects and reports that involve designing and implementing data-driven applications. I received an undergraduate degree and a master’s degree in Psychology from Chonnam National University in South Korea, and another master’s degree in Statistics from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. I love to work with different kinds of data that fall in the intersection of technology and scientific research. I have worked in the field of public health for the past eight years. Currently, I am working with many center researchers on a variety of projects in order to help SBSRC in its mission of facilitating the growth and excellence of social and behavioral science research.
