Jamy Rentschler SBSRC Graduate Student Assistant
I am Graduate Research Assistant at the Social and Behavioral Sciences Research Consortium (SBSRC). I assist with estimating and monitoring project budgets for SBSRC, tracking consortium engagements, and participating in project evaluation services for clients.
Prior to arriving at UNL to pursue a Ph.D. in Sociology, I worked in research administration at Iowa State University. My work experience includes serving as a pre-award administrator in the Office of Sponsored Programs Administration (OSPA), reviewing and submitting proposals. Later, I joined the Sponsored Programs Accounting (SPA) office as an accountant where I provided post-award financial support and later became the manager of the office. Subsequently, I joined the Grants Hub, a new initiative of the Office of the Vice President for Research (VPR), as a project manager working with interdisciplinary research teams. In addition to working at Iowa State, I earned a B.S. in Sociology, a B.S. in Finance, and an MBA from there as well.
