Social and Behavioral Sciences Voucher Seed Grant Program
The SBSRC is continuing its novel voucher seed grant program to facilitate new connections between NU faculty and research support services leading to published research and grant submissions. The SBSRC will award 5 to 10 research vouchers (up to $5,000 per award) for the 2016-2017 fiscal year (i.e., funds used prior to June 30, 2017). Monthly reviews will be conducted until the available funds have been awarded. The vouchers are designed to support faculty in new collaborations with one or more of the existing research support units at UNL.
The voucher support will be for the faculty member to work with one of the UNL social and behavioral research support operations. Researchers are encouraged to contact the SBSRC (firstname.lastname@example.org) to identify which unit(s) would best fit their needs if this is not known. Centers and units providing a range of services that support research include:
o Academy for Child and Family Well Being
o Bureau of Sociological Research
o Center for Brain, Biology and Behavior
o Center for Children, Families and the Law
o Central Plains Research Data Center
o Methodology and Evaluation Research Core Facility
o Minority Health Disparities Initiative
o Nebraska Center for Research on Children, Youth, Families and Schools
o Public Policy Center
This list is not exhaustive. Applicants may inquire with SBSRC regarding the eligibility of other UNL research support services for voucher assistance.
